The Northern Employment Business Hub (NEBHub) was officially launched by the Minister for Skills, Training and Workforce Growth the Hon. Felix Ellis on Thursday 4th August 2022. Just over 50 people attended the launch, with the morning tea prepared and provided by students from Studentworks.
The NEBHub is an initiative of the Bell Bay Advanced Manufacturing Zone (BBAMZ) and is funded by a $2M commitment by the state government at the 2021 Tasmanian election and facilitated through Jobs Tasmania.
The NEBHub is based at Tenancy 5 - Cornwall Square Transit Centre, 182 - 192 Cimitiere Street Launceston. The NEBHub provides outreach services to all communities within the West Tamar, George Town, Launceston, Meander Valley, Flinders Island and Northern Midlands municipalities. The NEBHub office provides a walk-in service to job seekers and is continually working directly with business to understand their requirements and to match local jobs with local people.
